مسابقه خرگوش و لاکپشت
یک روز خرگوشی سریع در جنگل می‌دوید و به لاکپشت آرام خندید. خرگوش گفت: «تو خیلی آهسته‌ای، من همیشه برنده می‌شوم.» لاکپشت با آرامش گفت: «بیایید یک مسابقه بدهیم.» همه حیوانات جنگل جمع شدند تا مسابقه را ببینند. مسابقه شروع شد و خرگوش خیلی سریع جلو افتاد. او فکر کرد که به راحتی برنده می‌شود. خرگوش در مسیر مسابقه زیر درختی خوابش برد. در همین زمان لاکپشت آرام و بدون توقف حرکت می‌کرد. او قدم به قدم جلو رفت و هرگز توقف نکرد. خرگوش هنوز خواب بود و از مسابقه خبر نداشت. لاکپشت به خط پایان نزدیک شد. خرگوش ناگهان بیدار شد و دید خیلی عقب است. او سریع شروع به دویدن کرد. اما دیگر خیلی دیر شده بود. لاکپشت از خط پایان عبور کرد. لاکپشت برنده مسابقه شد. همه حیوانات خوشحال شدند و برای او دست زدند.

One day a fast rabbit was running in the forest and laughing at a slow turtle. The rabbit said, “You are very slow, I always win.” The turtle calmly said, “Let’s have a race.” All the animals in the forest came to watch the race. The race started and the rabbit ran very fast. He thought he would win easily. The rabbit fell asleep under a tree during the race. Meanwhile, the turtle kept moving slowly without stopping. Step by step, the turtle moved forward. The rabbit was still sleeping and did not know what was happening. The turtle got close to the finish line. Suddenly, the rabbit woke up and saw he was far behind. He started running very fast. But it was too late. The turtle crossed the finish line. The turtle won the race. All the animals were happy and clapped for him.
