🟢 Pumpkin Rolling (English)
Once upon a time, there was an old woman who lived alone.
One day she decided to visit her daughter who lived beyond the forest. She took her walking stick and started her journey.
On the way, she met a wolf.
The wolf said, “Old woman, where are you going?”
She said, “I’m going to my daughter’s house.”
The wolf said, “I will eat you now!”
The old woman replied, “Oh no! I’m too skinny now. Let me go eat at my daughter’s house and get fat. On my way back, you can eat me!”
The wolf agreed.
Then she met a lion and a tiger. She gave them the same answer.
When she reached her daughter’s house, her daughter said, “The forest is dangerous! The animals will eat you.”
She brought a big pumpkin, emptied it, and hid her mother inside. Then she pushed the pumpkin and said, “Roll, pumpkin, roll!”
The pumpkin rolled through the forest.
The wolf saw it and asked, “Rolling pumpkin! Have you seen the old woman?”
The pumpkin answered,
“No, I haven’t seen her,
I’m just rolling along!”
It said the same to the lion and the tiger.
Finally, the pumpkin reached the old woman’s house. She came out safely and lived happily.
