ما ساعت ۱۰ صبح به فرودگاه امام خمینی رسیدیم.
هواپیما بهموقع نشست و ما از پنجره بیرون را نگاه کردیم؛ آسمان آبی و آفتابی بود.
وقتی از هواپیما پیاده شدیم، به سالن ترانزیت رفتیم. بعد از کمی راه رفتن، به قسمت کنترل پاسپورت رسیدیم.
صف طولانی بود، ولی مأمور کنترل لبخند میزد و با همه مهربان بود.
ما پاسپورت و کارت پروازمان را نشان دادیم. مأمور از من پرسید چرا به ایران سفر میکنم. گفتم برای یادگیری زبان فارسی.
پس از کنترل پاسپورت، به سالن تحویل چمدان رفتیم. چرخدستی برداشتیم و منتظر چمدانها شدیم.
چمدان من کمی دیر آمد. سبز رنگ و سنگین بود.
سپس از قسمت بازرسی گمرک عبور کردیم. یک مأمور بازرسی از ما پرسید که آیا چیزی برای اعلام داریم یا نه. ما گفتیم نه، فقط وسایل شخصی داریم.
در سالن انتظار، صدا از بلندگو پخش شد: “مسافران پرواز شماره ۷۵۰ لطفاً به گیت ۵ مراجعه کنند.”
ما به گیت نرفتیم، چون سفر ما تمام شده بود!
در قسمت ورود، مادربزرگ و داییام منتظر ما بودند. آنها یک پلاکارد کوچک در دست داشتند که رویش نوشته بود: “خوش آمدید!”
وقتی ما را دیدند، لبخند زدند و با آغوش گرم به ما خوشآمد گفتند.
برای مادرم گل آورده بودند و پدرم از دیدن آنها بسیار خوشحال بود.
من هم خیلی خوشحال شدم. سفر ما به ایران رسماً شروع شد.

Ma sa’at-e dah-e sobh be forudgah-e Emam Khomeini residim.
Havapeyma be moghe neshasht va ma az panjere birun ra negah kardim; aseman abi va aftabi bud.
Vaghti az havapeyma piade shodim, be salen-e tranzit raftim. Ba’d az kami rah raftan, be ghesmat-e kontrol-e passport residim.
Saf toolani bud, vali ma’mur-e kontrol labkhand mizad va ba hame mehraban bud.
Ma passport va kart-e parvazeman ra neshan dadim. Ma’mur az man porsid chera be Iran safar mikonam. Goftam baraye yadgiri-ye zaban-e Farsi.
Pas az kontrol-e passport, be salen-e tahvil-e chamedan raftim. Charkh-dasti bardashtim va montazer-e chamedan-ha shodim.
Chamedan-e man kami dir amad. Sabz rang va sangin bud.
Sepas az ghesmat-e bazresi-ye gomrok obur kardim. Yek ma’mur-e bazresi az ma porsid ke aya chizi baraye e’lam darim ya na. Ma goftim na, faghat vasayel-e shakhsi darim.
Dar salen-e entezar, seda az bolandgo pakhsh shod: “Mosafaran-e parvaz shomare 750 lotfan be gate 5 moraje’e konand.”
Ma be gate narafdim, chun safar-e ma tamam shode bud!
Dar ghesmat-e vorud, madarbozorg va da’i-am montazer-e ma budand. Anha yek plakard-e kuchak dar dast dashtand ke royesh neveshte bud: “Khosh amadid!”
Vaghti ma ra didand, labkhand zadand va ba aghush-e garm be ma khosh amad goftand.
Baraye madaram gol avarde budand va pedaram az didan anha besyar khoshhal bod.
Man ham kheili khoshhal shodam. Safar-e ma be Iran rasmi shoru shod.

We arrived at Imam Khomeini Airport at 10 AM.
The airplane landed on time and we looked outside the window; the sky was blue and sunny.
When we got off the plane, we went to the transit hall. After walking a bit, we reached passport control.
The line was long, but the passport officer was smiling and kind to everyone.
We showed our passports and boarding passes. The officer asked me why I am traveling to Iran. I said to learn Persian.
After passport control, we went to the baggage claim area. We took a trolley and waited for our suitcases.
My suitcase came a bit late. It was green and heavy.
Then we passed through customs inspection. An inspector asked us if we had anything to declare. We said no, only personal belongings.
In the waiting hall, an announcement was made: “Passengers of flight number 750 please proceed to gate 5.”
We didn’t go to the gate because our trip was over!
At the entrance, my grandmother and uncle were waiting for us. They held a small sign that said, “Welcome!”
When they saw us, they smiled and warmly welcomed us with hugs.
They had brought flowers for my mother and my father was very happy as he has visited them
.I was very happy as well. Our trip to Iran officially began.
